Hi I'm Bridgette,
Hi, my name's Bridgette, founder of Little Twine Photography!
How It All Began...
I embarked on this journey over 5 years ago when I had an epiphany about becoming a professional photographer, I wasn't exactly sure which genre I preferred so I took advantage of my beautiful surroundings in the country side I lived amongst, and began as a landscape photographer. Although I have a strong love and appreciation for nature, I naturally began diverting to family photography.
This began with photographing my own family, and then later discovering the art of newborn photography of which I focus primarily on, as it is my absolute passion!
Since nurturing this business into what it is today, every ounce of effort was put into being able to grow the business within the community to collaborate and support other small businesses, to give back by donating to charity and to meet amazing and diverse families and forming a special relationship with them. The kind of stuff that gives us warm fuzzies!
Our studio is my happy place...
What we create here is far more than just an art piece, it is a memory of our loved ones, throughout the stages of their life, Which is very special and sentimental, and something I work hard at delivering.
Understanding Parents
Being a mother of two little cherubs myself, I understand children's and parent's needs therefore we have this in mind when designing our studio space. Client comfort is at the forefront of our mind whilst you attend our sessions, and we truly want you to feel at home in our studio space!
Training
It's my opinion that in any profession adequate training is paramount to operating safely and successfully.
In terms of Newborn Photography newborn babies are much more delicate than we tend to believe, it is vital to have the correct knowledge when handling newborn babies in a photography studio setting to prevent injury and discomfort.
It was imperative to invest in industry training via leading industry experts such as KBO & Newborn posing by Kelly Brown, ANP Academy, APNPI, The Portrait Masters by Sue Bryce and more.
