Hi,

I'm Bridgette

I embarked on my photography journey back in 2018. It was very obvious

to others around me I had a passion for photography, however it didn't even cross my mind to become a professional until someone mentioned I should come out of a hobby stage and take it more seriously. "Of course, why didn't I think of that!" Was my response, and I quite literally began studying the very same day!

After I learned camera theory, I began photographing landscape, I had my first photography job as a phot journalist in my local area, which was great, however there was something missing.

I photographed my own family, and this was a very special experience for me. This led me to discover the art of newborn photography. I thought it as one of the most special forms of photography one could do! When the dinosaurs roamed, I remember my own childhood experiences with my mother's Kodak, and how excited I was when she would have the films developed!

"My studio is my happy place..."

What we create here is far more than just a picture, it is art piece that holds the memory of our loved ones captured in time, what could be more special than that! What I was taught when I had my first job as a young teen, was the value of customer service, and how important it is to create a relationship with clients. I value that clients aren't just a paying customer they're a person with their own story, that is what I wish to capture in my work. I tend to have a bit of a deep and meaningful or a laugh while I work as I love to connect and share a moment.

Understanding Parents

Being a mother of two little cherubs myself, I understand children's and parent's needs. The restless nights the day before the shoot, scattering to find everything needed to exit the home. Therefore when you arrive I want you to feel relaxed, as though you're visiting a friend, we may produce fine art photography, but you're a real person and we totally get that!

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Bridgette xx

Training

It's my opinion that in any profession adequate training is paramount to operating safely and successfully.

In terms of Newborn Photography newborn babies are much more delicate than we tend to believe, it is vital to have the correct knowledge when handling newborn babies in a photography studio setting to prevent injury and discomfort.

It was imperative to invest in industry training via leading industry experts such as KBO & Newborn posing by Kelly Brown, ANP Academy, APNPI, The Portrait Masters by Sue Bryce and more.
